Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd has set up a 0.5 MW solar power project in Wavi in Sinnar Tehsil of the state. The project was successfully linked to the grid. The project was set up with an investment of ₹ 30 lakh.
The project had been implemented in vacant premises of its sub stations and has been built by Energy Efficiency Services Ltd.
