Uttarakhand Irrigation Department (UID) is planning to develop 40 MW of solar power projects across Tumaria (27.34 MW )and Haripura dams (13.50 MW) in the state. The department has invited Request for Proposal (RfP) bids to develop 40.84 MW of solar PV projects on BOOT (build, own, operate) model. These dams are located in Udhamsinghnagar district of Uttarakhand.
The successful developer will operate the project for a period of 25 years. Land required for the project is already available and the project cost is estimated at ₹ 1,613 million.
