CleanMax Solar setting up roof top solar project in Amaravati new secretariat building

CleanMax Solar is setting up a roof top solar power plant of capacity 842 kwp at AP Secretariat complex in Amaravati. The project is being installed in partnership with the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). The solar project is the first Power Purchase Agreement signed as a part of the tender awarded by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NREDCAP) to CleanMax Solar. The plant will be spread across seven buildings , including the Chief Minister’s Office Building and AP Assembly, among others.

The unit is expected to generate 12.4 lakh units per annum, with estimated saving on electricity bills to be Rs 42 lakh per annum for the next 25 years. The plant will abate 1026 tonnes of CO2 emission annually, equivalent to planting 24,360 trees.
