Singareni Colleries Ltd is planning to set up a floating solar power project in Maneru dam in Kothagudem in Karimnagar district of Telangana. The project involves setting up of a 300 MW of solar power across Maneru dam reservoir in the state.
As of January 2021, the project is in planning stage and is yet to get requisite clearances from state and central governments.
