Sprng Energy is planning to set up a 250 MW of solar power plant in Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. The company has awarded the contract to Siemens Gamesa India to develop the project. The scope of work involves engineering, procurement and construction that includes the engineering and design of the solar farm, procurement of the balance of plants, supply of 2.25 and 2.5 MW 1500 V Gamesa Electric inverters. As of April 2019, the project is in planning stage.
