Krishna Bhagya Jal Nigam Limited (KBJNL) has plans to set up a 10 MW solar power plant over the irrigation canals. Initially, it plans to lay the solar panels on the 10 km-long canals of Mulawad life irrigation project to generate 10 megawatts of power. The company has submitted a report to the union government to claim subsidy.
